Small roofing problems have a way of turning into big, expensive ones. That's exactly what happened on this job. What started as a repair call turned into something more involved once we got the metal panels pulled back - hidden rot in the decking underneath. Left alone, that kind of damage doesn't just sit there. It spreads, weakens the structure, and eventually forces a much costlier fix down the road.

Here's what we were working with: a large barn-style building that already had metal roofing on part of the structure. The goal was to address the rot properly - pull back what needed to come off, replace the damaged decking, install fresh synthetic underlayment, and then lay the new metal panels correctly from the start. No shortcuts, no covering it up and hoping for the best.

We laid down Titanium synthetic roofing underlayment before the new metal went on. That step matters more than most people realize. A quality underlayment acts as a secondary moisture barrier, which is especially important in a wooded, wet environment like this one. It's the kind of detail that separates a roof that lasts from one that causes headaches again in a few years.

The finished metal roofing ties in cleanly with the existing panels on the upper section of the building. Getting that transition right - both functionally and visually - is part of doing the job properly. Metal roofing done right is one of the most durable options out there. But only if the foundation underneath it is solid. That's the part that's easy to skip and costly to ignore.

We handle metal roofing repairs and installations of all sizes. Whether it's a small section of damaged decking or a full roof job, the approach is the same - find the real problem and fix it the right way.
